Efficient microplate storage with stackers enables fully automated processing of large batches of plates and increases your walk-away time. In a very space saving way, CyBio’s stackers directly fit to the linear and circular carriages. CyBio is offering a standard stacker with two chimneys, as well as the CyBi®-QuadStack with four chimneys in different sizes for even more capacity on a small footprint.
Tip Wash Stations
By means of these wash modules, tips in the 96 and 384 format can be washed automatically with pump-supported (active) inflow and drain. This results in a considerably reduced requirement of disposables. The inflow and drain of the liquids is performed by peristaltic pumps, which can be attached to an external module or a stacker. The compact high resolution barcode reader NLV 2101 can easily be integrated into a variety of CyBio systems. Reliable barcode reading is essential for the tracking of microplates. Barcode labels can be read on both the long and short side of a microplate.
Automated Reservoir Filling
The reagent reservoirs with automated filling are designed for the storage of liquids, such as buffers or DMSO. The inflow is performed by a peristaltic pump, which can be attached to an external module or a stacker. Special reservoirs are separated into different divisions in rows or columns. In this way, different reagents can be stored at the same time.
Microplate adapters enable the integration of almost all third party microplates into CyBio instruments. Furthermore CyBio is offering adapters for specific application needs, for example:

Heating and Cooling Devices
The CyBio Reagent Cooling System is the fully automated solution for the safe and comfortable handling of temperature sensitive reagents. This system secures the temperature stability of enzymes, proteins and aqueous solutions in temperature sensitive assays. The system can be equipped with a reagent reservoir and additionally with a reagent bottle for cooling high storage volumes.
The CyBio heating system is the fully automated solution for the incubation and denaturation of reagents within the temperature range of 24–100°C. The plate heating is done on optimized plate adapters and is controlled by an external module. The heating system offers high temperature stability within 1°C and a fast heating of plates.
Plate Transfer Unit
This additional module can be mounted to the CyBi®-Well or CyBi®-Well vario and allows the automatic relocation of a microplate to any carriage position.
For high throughput applications, where tip changing is necessary, the TipChanger can store up to 100 tip racks.
